What is "normal"?

So, I mentioned in a previous blog that when we got home from our summer trip that things could get back to "normal". What "normal" is exactly, I am not sure. What I know is that it took the kids about two weeks to get back on a reasonable sleeping schedule. Well, anyway, whether it is "normal" or not . . . this is what we have been up to since we got home.

The kids and I have been to The Children's Museum. We had to get a picture after they built this arch!

They also got to play T.V. news anchors at the museum.

On another day we went blueberry picking. I was lucky enough to go with two older ladies in the ward who were so cute with my kids. I don't think that Sarah ever stopped talking to them. It was really great . . . the kids could pick to their hearts content. You could also eat all you wanted while you were there.

It was a pretty hot day, but if you stayed low there was shade. We all had a really great time.

We got home with about seven pounds of blueberries . . . YUM! That night we had blueberry pancakes for dinner. The ones we couldn't eat in the first two days froze beautifully. For the last week and a half we have had blueberries on our cereal every morning. We will definitely go again next year.

Also, Ben decided it was finally time to buy Band Hero. It is something we have been thinking about for at least a year. Michael is getting really good at playing Guitar Hero, and Ben and I love the game so we decided to splurge. Here is a little video of the kids rockin' out with their friends.

I couldn't get the video to upload, so a picture will have to do. They are pretty cute though. It has been a really great summer!!

I think normal at your house is lots of fun, food, and cute kids (and parents).
