The kids loved tubing. I was impressed at how brave they were. It helps when you have seven or eight other kids on the same tube being brave as well.
The younger kids loved playing soccer in the meadow. Michael, especially, has really been enjoying soccer since the World Cup. He told me the other day he wanted to have a World Cup Birthday party (I am still not sure what that all entails).
They also played a little Red Rover.
The water was cold, but the kids still loved swimming to the raft. In this picture Emma is wearing the life jacket that I used to wear when I was little. It is so fun to see them appreciating Bear Lake, it is such a special place to me.

Early one morning Ben, Michael, Emma and I went shooting at the "Gallery". It made me think so much about my sweet dad -- I still miss him tons -- I can't believe he has been gone 12 years.
We spent the Fourth Of July up there and had the usual activities (Smores, Bonfire, Fireworks).

We flew kites. Occasionally the wind gusted and took the kites up . . . but there was a lot of running involved.
We also found this pedicure foot bath. We had lots of fun with it!

Sarah was especially glad that Rogue (Colby and Barbie's dog) got to come to Bear Lake.
Grandma Nona taught Michael how to drive the Gator (or Mule). Michael loved it, and was very responsible.
We also went on a little motorcycle ride -- so fun!
There were also card games, board games, lots of visiting, climbing on rocks, volleyball (during which Ben sprained his ankle very badly -- it is still giving him trouble), etc. Like I said, there is always something going on. It was so fun to be at Bear Lake!
