Grandpa Gene and Grandma Tammy put in a pool in their backyard this spring. It was a big hit!!! They did an excellent job planning the layout. We spent hours upon hours playing in it. I think that my kid's made huge strides in their swimming abilities. Michael and Emma are so confident now, it is almost a little scary. Sarah is quite confident too as long as she has her tube or water wings. Here Sarah and Jane are showing me how they can both stick their foot through the hoop . . . pretty tricky huh.
Michael and Emma also learned to dive and got pretty good (after quite a few belly flops).
We had lots of fun just hanging out with aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, friends and extended family.
We also played this super fun game of jumping over a rope that continually got farther away. It was fun to be either a participant or a spectator in this game.
We also did some night swimming. The kids thought they were in heaven being able to stay up late AND go swimming was awesome.
We did chicken fights!
Crazy tricks!
And even got Barb stuck in a tube that we were diving through!!!

That was such a great blog about the pool. Looking at the photos brings back plenty of fun memories. You got some great shots of the action. What a photographer.
