Shamrock Kids 1K

On St. Patrick's Day Michael, Emma and Sarah signed up to run the First Annual Shamrock Kids 1K at Westchester Commons. It was great to have a race so close by. Here they are with their "game faces" on . . . ready to go.


They each ran at their own pace and seemed to have a lot of fun.




Emma fell and got pretty scraped up, but got right back up and kept running. She is pretty tough!

I am really proud of each of them. I think they were pretty proud of themselves as well.


(If you are wondering why they are not decked out in green, it is because we had soccer games immediately following the race. We had to race (ha-ha) to the YMCA after the race to make it to the games.)
