The Reception

We all zoomed straight from the temple to start getting set up for the reception at Wheeler Farm.  Actually, I am still amazed that we got it all set up in time.

Colby is putting up the lanterns.

Mom and Robin discuss the set-up.

Ben and Ciro (Shannon's boyfriend) hanging the lights across the sealing.

It was amazing how it all came together.  And it looked beautiful.

Then it was time to get dressed for pictures.  If he could have, Michael would have worn his tux all day.  He was super excited and he looked super handsome! (He even got to wear tux shoes.)

Of course, Barbie is doing all of the final touches on everybody.

The bride and groom ready for an evening of smiles.

Nate smashing one of the lanterns with his belly.

This is how it looked from up above.  There were so many people there (I think close to 700).  And people didn't come and greet and go;  they stayed, and stayed and stayed.  It was so much fun!  After a few hours of greeting guests and eating Leatherby's ice cream the program started.  There were more speeches, there were dance numbers, cake cutting, garter and bouquet throwing and then the DJ played into the night and people danced and danced and danced.  It was a really fun night.

So here is whole family together.  What can I say . . . we are a pretty fun bunch!

Congratulations K&K!

It was so wonderful to have "all my chicks in one basket" for such a fun event! I am glad to get to be in your family!
