It turned out totally awesome. It took about 3-4 days to complete. He used juice cartons, masking tape, Duct tape, grocery sacks, toothpicks, string and a glue gun.
He had so much fun doing it that he got Emma and Sarah excited too. There was boat making going on for at least a week.
After he finished this one he did a smaller version without any adult assistance. He only burned his finger once on the glue gun. It was really fun to see what aspects of the ship were most important. He had some wonderful ideas and was very patient. Great job Michael!

Did he try to float the boat? I figure it ought to be waterproof with all that masking tape on it.
