Wedding Preperations

It was so fun to finally get to Utah for the wedding.  It is hard to live far away when there are preparations and things to be done.  I felt pretty useless as far as helping my sweet sister get ready for her wedding.  So, once we got to Utah we put everyone to work.  The kids helped paint signs for the reception.  Barbie and Mom are so awesome at having projects for the kids.  It really made them feel special.

The night before the wedding was the Family Dinner.  Barbie, Mom, the kids and I set up.  The kids loved playing around with batting helmets and on the stage as we set up the tables and chairs.  But, when it was time to put on the table cloths and decorate Emma (and Michael) were the first in line.  It really turned out beautiful!

Nate was really excited when we set up the microphone.  He put on quite the show.

I was too busy chatting and enjoying myself to take many pictures during the dinner.  There was super yummy food, cousins and aunts and uncles from all over the country.  There were speeches and singing and an amazing slide show.

 
It always surprises me how the clean up is so quick.  Thanks to great family members we had that cultural hall sparkling in no time.  On to more celebrations . . .
