The big M

I think that it has become a tradition to spend your birthday in Virginia with us. We love celebrating birthdays and we love it when people come to Virginia to share their birthday with us. My sweet Mom came for a visit during her birthday this last month.

This picture was taken during the birthday song (the FULL version). Michael really got into it, he was dancing in the background.


She is such an awesome mom and grandma. She was totally up for any event/errand/etc. that came along. So, we did it all.

... and a lot of apple "cranking".


We even posed for a photo-shoot after planting tulip bulbs in front of the house.


We all loved having her here. Mom's are just special. So are grandmas . . . one evening she went to take a shower and Emma didn't want to leave her side, so she sat outside the bathroom door and waited and sang songs until grandma was done. When you come to visit, you may not get much "alone time", but you sure get a lot of love!!! Thanks Mommers!
