Mother's Day

I think that this year was my favorite celebration of Mother's Day since I became a mom. The best part of the day was being with my family. I woke up to Ben and the kids walking into the bedroom singing "Happy Mother's Day to you." They had made me a wonderful breakfast in bed of waffles, oatmeal, egg muffin sandwich, juice and milk. Then they crowded on my bed and shared it with me. It was definitely the best part of Mother's Day.

I loved watching Michael and Emma sing to me in Sacrament Meeting. I really loved it that they actually both made eye contact during the songs. They are the sweetest children.

After church we went straight to Maymont Park for a picnic. We parked over by the gardens and ate our lunch under our favorite "climbing" tree. Then we walked down to the Japanese garden where the kids loved to walk across the bridges.

On the way back up, we climbed all over the waterfall.

It was beautiful, and so much fun to hang out with my sweet husband and kids. I truly have the best job in the world. Thanks to Michael, Emma and Sarah for letting me be your mom.
