It has been a very busy week-and-a-half. Tuesday, September 2nd was Michael's first day of school. He attends J.B. Watkins Elementary. So far he loves it.

The bus stop is right in front of our house. I am standing on our front porch to take this picture. The kids have a blast in the mornings playing before the bus comes.

He was so brave . . . "Bye Mom." I was a little teary eyed.

Monday, September 8th was Emma's first day of preschool. She goes to Winfree Memorial Preschool. She is super excited about going to school like her older brother.

Winfree is only about five minutes from our house. All of the preschools here in Virginia are based out of churches, and it seems really nice. Here she is in front of her school.

After we left Emma at school and went back to the car, Sarah realized that Emma wasn't coming home with us. She kept telling me to "Wait for Emma."

Emma's second day of school didn't go very well. About five minutes before it was time to leave for school Emma threw-up. After she did, she told me she felt lots better and she that she still wanted to go to school. I told her she had to say home and she was pretty sad . . . Sarah was ecstatic. She was back to normal around 6pm, it only lasted about ten hours. Her third day of school is tomorrow, and she is very excited to go.

She looks so darling in those little gouchos, and so sicky with her throw up bowl. I can't believe how grown up they are getting.
Ah,the trusty old vomit bowl. My mom used to make popcorn in the very same bowl. I hate popcorn, even at the movies. Just walking into my parents bedroom grasping that bowl was just the thing I need ed to give my exaggerated sickness claims enough veracity to get me out of day of tedious school work and into an day of exciting television watching.
I am really glad you stuff finally made it. It looks like thing are going well in the old Dominion State.
By the way if you haven't guessed this is Jake
Betsy-
I was so excited to find your blog and read about what troopers you have been with the whole move! It makes me a bit sad to see Michael headed to school... without Ty and Anna! If only we could have kept the three-amigos together! But we are glad that he likes school and that you are all doing well! We will check in on your blog often to keep tabs on you!
Loves, The Fredrick family
They are all so cute! I can't believe how much I miss them all -- I also can't believe they didn't inherit the "anti-school" gene!
Thank Goodness for Miss Lori and Miss Julie who taught our little ones to be so brave and that school is a wonderful thing. We miss you fiercely every day!
How cute they both look going off to school. Before you know it they will be all grown up like mine are.
I am so glad that she is better, hope the rest of you did not get it. That is what happens when you start school...all the germs that get passed around. Ah....I don't miss that at all. Only the occassional cold will Lyndsey bring home.
Have fun. Take lots of pics.
Bets, they are so cute, life is just flying by. Soon it will be Sarah's turn.
Okay you have the most adorable girls ever!!! I love your blog. We miss you guys but you look like your doing great!
