The Bus Stop Rules!!!

We have such a wonderful time each morning as we wait for Michael's school bus. There are close to twenty kids that wait at our stop and they have such fun playing together. They all drop their backpacks in the gutter and hang out together. I am standing in our neighbors garage to take this picture, and you can see our house across the street.

Michael, Sarah and Ethan (across the street neighbor) skateboard together.

After school when the bus comes home the playing begins again. They often all get their bikes out and we cone off the street while they ride back and forth.

Here is Emma taking her riding very seriously.

Even the little ones join in.

Yesterday our neighbors across the street sold their house. We will miss them a lot. We have become very good friends with the whole family, and spend at least two hours a day with them at the bus stop. Hopefully it won't change the bus stop routine too much. It will be hard to see them go.

I total thought this would be a list of rules to be obeyed at the bus stop, like not running into the street, keeping your hands to yourself or something along that line. All the training HR has been putting us through must be getting to me.

It looks like you couldn' have chosen a better neighborhood. Lots of kids on a quiet street makes such a difference.
