Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

This year our traditional Christmas Eve activities were a little different.  We spent the evening winging our way to Utah.

Waiting at Richmond International.

Solo seat on our first flight.

Nate got his own seat by Dad.

They do a great job sitting together.

I got to sit behind Sarah.

Our pilot reported sighting a red streak across the sky during our flight.  We all wondered if we were flying alongside of Santa!

We arrived in Utah around 1am and went quickly to bed.   We woke up and listed to our annual Family Favorites CD as we ate our yummy breakfast casserole.  It was so fun to chat.  Then we headed upstairs to see what Santa had left for us.

Hanging out Christmas morning at Barb and Colb's apartment.

Nate's got Play-Doh from Santa.

Sarah got a remote control helicopter from Santa.

Emma got a tie-dye kit from Santa.

Michael got an awesome Star Wars Wii game from Santa.

Jazz fans.

That afternoon we headed up to Wolfcreek in Eden, UT to have Christmas evening with the Van Tassells.  The gift giving was so fun.

Wrapping paper and kids were everywhere!

Nate got a flap Thomas book from Aunt Katrina.

Jessica and her nieces with their new pink jackets.

Christmas day was a whirlwind of activities, but we felt so blessed to be able to spend time with our families!  And the party in Utah had just begun.
