Arlington

The day after Thanksgiving Mel and Cherry watched our kids while Ben and I went up to the DC Temple.  It was a peaceful morning.

Then we headed back to pick up our kids and go to Arlington Cemetery.  Both Michael and Emma had been studying about Arlington during the last few weeks because of Veteran's Day.  We had learned a lot and were excited to see it all in person. It didn't disappoint.  The views were awe inspiring and the atmosphere was very reverent and respectful.  It was very meaningful to see each name on the headstones and realize how many have sacrificed so much for our country and our freedom.  It was a day of thanksgiving.

Changing of the guard.

Rows upon rows.
