Utah #4 -- Geocaching

Well, we managed to drag a few individuals on a geocache or two while we were visiting. I think that we took Dave, Stacey, Summer, Aidan, Asher, Katrina, Jane, Tom, Katie, Gene, Tammy, Andrew, Becca, Grandma Mary, Nona, Katie, Barbie, Colby and Rogue all on their first geocache. I hope they had fun . . . I sure did. I loved spending time walking, chatting, and exploring with those I love.

Some were accessible with flip-flops.

Others, required hiking shoes.

(But we got to see moose along the way.)

(And ohhh the view from the top!)

We had Colby hooked as soon as he found his first cache by himself. It's always fun to be the actual one to find it.

Barbie also got to be the "finder" of one . . . I think that started a friendly competition.

We also got to go on a very short walk from my Mom's house to find one. The kids loved that Rogue got to find a geocache too.

We also picked up our first Travel Bug (a special item in a geocache) in Utah and brought it to Virginia.

What can I say . . . I guess I am kind of a nerd!

If you think you are a nerd, just look around at who surrounds you!

What a great summer with so many vacations!
