First . . . we slept in. I am not sure how that happened. Nate just didn't wake up until 8:30am and the other kids were so quiet playing computer games that we didn't even hear them. (Also, I went to sleep at 9:20pm last night. So I started the day VERY well rested.)
Second . . . Ben mowed the lawn. I stayed in the air conditioned house with the kiddos. (After Ben came in the house we looked at our weather meter and it said with humidity it felt like 107 degrees -- HOT!)
Third . . . we went to the pool. It just opened this weekend and we were all anxiously awaiting our first swim.
Even Nate went swimming. He actually loved it! I didn't get the camera out until we were packing up to go, so I didn't get one of him in the pool. This is just before we strolled away. He is such a happy boy.

Fourth . . . we had dinner at Panera. YUM!!
Fifth . . . we went Geocaching. We just learned about this awesome little activity. The other day we were reading a Boxcar Children book and they talked about geocaching, and we wondered if it was real. It is a treasure hunt using GPS coordinates. You can log on to geocaching.com and find a cach by you and it gives you coordinates. You plug the coordinates into your GPS and start searching. Once you find the geocach you can exchange a trinket in the box for one of your own trinkets. When you get home you can log back onto the website and record your findings. I thought it was a total blast! Our first attempt was a success.
It was a very memorable and fun day spent with the fam.
