St. Patrick's Day

We had an awesome St. Patrick's Day. To start off our celebrations, our next door neighbors threw a party on Saturday afternoon with TONS of food, lots of people, and a moon bounce. My kids were in heaven.

If I didn't know any better I would swear Emma was part Irish. She was so excited about this holiday. She worked all week to prepare her outfit for the big day. (Clothes, socks, "Irish for a day" pin, shamrock necklace, and hat).

Both her and Michael got off the bus with stories about what the Leprechauns had done to their classrooms and what treats they had received.

And, to make fun day even more awesome, the ice cream truck drove past our house just after school and I actually let them each choose something. Am I am the best mom ever, or what?

St. Patrick's Day may just be one of my new favorite holidays.

I am glad you had a great birthday,I do miss our sleep over birthdays though. That Emma is my kind of girl with her love of St. Pattys. I love the new baby pics, ultrasounds, pregnancy, and all of it are so exciting!
