Who loves Barbie? We do! We do!

Barbie came out to stay with our kids while Ben and I went to Barcelona. Barb is great!!! She was so willing to come and take on our three cute kids for six days all by herself. The other day I was listening to the radio and heard this song come on. If you want you can listen while you read this post.

Any of you who know Barbie can testify how true this song is to her personality. She is definitely one of my best friends. We were so lucky to have her come and watch over our kids. She fed them, bathed them, fixed broken things, sewed tears in special blankets, took them shopping at the Dollar Tree, played Pokemon (lots), took all three kids to all three hours of church by herself, prepared and assisted with Emma's talk for primary with only 15 minutes warning, made my kids laugh so hard, read them bedtime stories, took Emma to dance class, put up with Michael asking her if she was going to get lost every time they got in the car, taught them jokes, made me feel confident that even though I was so far away from my precious children they were safe, happy and loved. Thanks Barb!

After we got home we still got to play with Barb a little bit too. We decorated t-shirts.

Also, Barbie's long time friend Krista (and her boyfriend) came down from D.C. to join us for a couple of days. We all piled in the car and headed to Chuck E. Cheese.


And of course we stayed up late playing Wii.



Thanks again Barb for making our Barcelona trip possible, and also for hanging around after we got back to let Ben and I play with you too.
