The day before the wedding we went down to the church and set up. The love for this new couple was so evident . . . so many people had come to help get ready for their special day. We hung lanterns, set up tables, decorated cup cakes, set up the food tables, put up picture frames, etc, etc, etc.
March 14th was the big day. I wish everyone knew how wonderful my sweet sister is . . . The last few moments before she walked down the aisle, she spent helping me get my girls ready. She never stops giving and she is ALWAYS thinking of others.
It was so much fun to be there with her (and my Mommers and Kits) to share this special day. It was so fun to help her get ready.
The ceremony was beautiful. I got to walk down the aisle with Michael, who was the ring bearer (and so proud of it). Emma and Sarah loved being flower girls and doing "drop the flowers" in front of Barb. And my sweet Ben did a wonderful job of walking Barbie down the aisle. Everyone did their part beautifully, and minutes later these two cute people were married.

Once the ceremony was over, we moved on to picture taking.

After a lot of pictures it is hard to keep smiling . . . but our Emma would do anything for her Barb and Colby.
In case you don't know . . . We love our Barb!!!!!

The reception was wonderful. It was an all out party!!! There was even a candy bar filled with rock candy, jelly beans, swedish fish, suckers, hot tamales, candy bracelets, M&M's, jaw breakers, bottle caps, and many others. You got to fill up your own bag with any candy you wanted. The kids were in heaven . . . sugar, sugar, sugar.

It was so much fun. We are so glad that Colby is in our family now. Congratulations you two!
