We had very low-key celebrations. We had an evening of opening gifts with the fam. The older kids were so cute and so excited for their baby brother. We all really love this little guy and are so grateful that he was sent to us from heaven.
The next day we had a small party with a few friends from Ben's work. We played outside a little bit and then let Nate open his gifts. He loved being able to cruise behind his new Cars car.
He also really loves his new doggie Scout. It often now sings him to sleep at night.
We made him his own little cake to grab at. But there were lots of hands holding him back protecting him from the candle during the "Happy Birthday" singing. (Like I said, there are lots of people that love him and watch over him every minute of his life.)
Then the kids blew out the candle and we let him dig in.
After he got cleaned up, we did a little dancin'. Which is one of Nate's favorite things to do in the world.

We miss you guys so much. We can tell we missed another great birthday, especially dancing with the birthday boy! The title is so accurate, but incomplete - Nate is One . . .cute, darling, and adorable boy!
