A few days with Katie

A few days after Emma's birthday we were able to talk Katie into staying with us for a few days. She was on her way home from her week at the beach with the Brysons, and her responsibilities at school had not gotten back into full swing yet.

We made the most of our days with her. Not letting her have a moment to herself, much less a moment without having at least one (if not four) children attached to her hip (sometimes literally!).


We played at Stoney Point Fountains.


Nate didn't mind getting wet one bit. And Michael loved that Nate loved it!


We got ice cream (of course)!


And Katie and Michael made Grandma Mary Tacos for us. Michael really enjoys his aunts and loved making these tacos with Katie.


Thanks for the visit Katie. I think . . . if my count is correct . . . that makes ten visits from you in the three years we have lived in Virginia. WOW!
