When we got up the next morning we had time to enjoy the scenery. It was beautiful. The moss hanging from the trees was so amazing. We headed right to the beach. It was still a little cool, but the kids got into their swimsuits (just in case). The Atlantic Ocean is still amazing to me, it is so peaceful to be there on the beach. We were lucky enough to have the Anderson's accompany us on our Spring Break Trip. The kids (and the adults) have a great time together.

The kids ended up getting pretty wet after all. It was just too fun to stay out of the water.
We did a little metal detecting. I found a Pirate's Treasure, but decided to leave it for someone else to find.
Nate loved playing in the water. Ben would put his toes in and lift him out just in time. I, however, got a little distracted and ended up getting him pretty wet. You can see water dripping off of him in this picture.

| Already searching for shells, he takes after his mother. |
We took this picture the first day we were there.

| Everyone amazed by our first gator sighting. |
This fellow was just off of the path on our way to the pool. I didn't even use the zoom to get this picture. It was a little scary.
This is the next morning. I am standing on the back deck of our condo and the kids are on the steps just below me. We actually heard him growling (not sure if that is the right word)!
This was down by the playground. We felt a little safer because there was a two foot fence between the kids and the alligator.
Then I dropped the camera case on the other side of the fence. We had to get it back with a long stick. Oops!
About 30 minutes later Tyson and I were pushing our kiddos on the swings and got to see this alligator eat a fish. It was pretty amazing!
The resort was really fun. They had lots to do. There were two different pools. The outdoor one wasn't heated, but the kids swam anyway.
Then the boys had to warm up in the sun. They are so cute!
They also had miniature golf at the condo. We got to play whenever we wanted for free.
It was never very busy, so the kids just spread out and did their own thing.
There was also a playground right next to the mini golf. We did some races and some "olympic events".
We were sad that Brittany only got to spend one day with us, but we were amazed by Tyson's skills at doing it all by himself. We had some pretty fun games of St. Petersburg after the kids went to sleep at night. (And also some really yummy cookie and ice cream sandwiches.)
One night we all went to a restaurant. The view was pretty amazing.
It was a beautiful place to visit. As soon as we got home we checked to see if there were any condos available there for this summer. They are already booked . . . we are hoping to get something for next summer.
