Finally!!!!

Well, she is almost 7 years old. And she finally lost her first tooth! We have been waiting and waiting, and wiggling and wiggling. On Monday as the kids were going to bed she told me to wiggle it, and it was pretty loose. She told me to tie some floss around it and yank it out -- brave girl. So I tied the floss around, but I couldn't yank it. So she grabbed it and said "I'll do it." She had no fear. She yanked pretty hard, but the floss slipped off. So, we tied it back on and Micheal said, "Can I try?" "Sure," said Emma -- BRAVE GIRL. He pulled slowly and it was too excruciating to watch. I grabbed the floss and did one quick yank and it popped out. She was so excited she couldn't stop giggling and yelling.

The next day she had to take it to school in a pretty box to show her teacher. I love my Emma -- she is pretty awesome!

Tell Em I understand... I'm pretty sure I was well into second grade before my first tooth popped out. I was so bummed I couldn't sign the tooth board with my friends in kindergarten or 1st grade.
