B-Ball

We did Upwards Basketball again this year. It was really fun. Ever since Michael played last year, Emma was insistent that she wanted to play. So we signed her up too. The girls teams set up so that grades 1, 2 and 3 are all on the same team. Emma was the only first grader on her team and you can definitely tell the height difference.


The other girls on her team were awesome, and so kind to one another. She has gotten to be a pretty great dribbler!


I was very impressed with her coaches. One of them was from Ireland and had the best accent -- he called all of the girls "love." They were very sweet to our little girl. Speaking of great coaches . . . Ben got to be the assistant coach of Michael's team this year.



I think they really enjoyed the time together. Michael is getting to be quite the basketball player.


One night we had our basketball awards ceremony . . . the next morning was our first soccer practice. So much fun!!!
