I have sort of been holding off on posting anything new until I get my camera cord. I know the funnest part of a blog are the photos, but oh well. I guess the latest is that we are still here in Virginia . . . our stuff still isn't. We have really had a difficult time with our moving company and apparently all of our belongings are still in the warehouse in Las Vegas. We spoke to them again this evening and the latest was that our stuff would ship out within the next few days. I will believe that when I see it.
Other than that minor set back we are having a blast. Actually, not having our stuff to unpack has really left us a lot of time to explore (we have floated down the James River, gone to Virginia Beach, visited the state capitol). We have had lots of time to play (we go swimming every day, we have been doing gymnastic/family night tricks in our "tippy-top", and we play on our play set in the backyard a lot). We have also had a wonderful time meeting our neighbors (because we spend most of our evenings outside with no furniture to sit on) who are very generous and kind.
So far we really love it here. We already feel so welcome in our community and ward. Hopefully the next post will contain some pictures.
